John and Kasey were there promoting their upcoming book, "Protective". John was busy all weekend doing sketches, selling commissions and gaining admirers of his lovely hair.

You may have also ran into C3ers Dan Travis and Adron hanging at the booth. Dan made a lot of kids happy with washable-marker superhero tattoos.

We're the Comic Creator Cabal - or C3 - a group of sequential art lovers based out of St. Louis, Missouri / Shiloh, Illinois (USA). We first met in the game room of a local comic shop back in December 2007, a bunch of guys who thought it would be awesome to try and make comics. We presented our debut collection, "Emergent Phenomena" (a 62 page, black & white trade paperback anthology collecting 6 stories) at Wizard World Chicago in 2008. The group continues to appear a conventions and to produce creator-owned comics.
